This post may come across harsh, but it needs to be said, so it can be addressed once and for all.
Ladies, we cannot fall victim to this kind of thing any longer. There is just too much information out there, for you not to be able to get your hair in check. Ain’t nobody got time to be looking like a hot mess in this day and age!
The main reason why some people struggle to properly blend their natural hair/ leave-out with their weave is because they have chosen the wrong type of hair, which does not match their natural texture hair.
To avoid this leave-out disaster, here are a few things you have to know.
First things first, synthetic hair will NEVER, ever blend with your natural hair, so if you wear synthetic hair, don’t have a leave-out.
Brazilian hair is the best solution to effortless blending. The coarseness helps the hair blend well with Black African hair types. 9 times out of 10 Brazilian hair will compliment your leave-out.
We cannot fall victim to this kind of thing any longer, this stops now!
Look at different textures. If you want to have a leave, explore different textures that match your natural hair. Yaki and kinky textures blend very well with Afro-Caribbean hair textures, so choose a texture that works well with you hair.
Don’t over do it. Remember that even if your weave is great quality, if your hair it too full, it will not look realistic. So tone it down a bit, for hair between 10 – 14 inches stick to two bundles of hair. Between 16 – 22 inches use three bundles and 24 – 30 inches use 4 bundles.
